The Alberto Del Rio stabbing incident keeps getting weirder.
Fightful.com, along with Wrestling Observer and Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed that the San Antonio Police have no record of the incident in which Del Rio claims he was stabbed after a fender bender. We've reached out to airport police as well, but haven't been given a straight answer on the situation. There are also several other, smaller departments in San Antonio that could have been involved.
Del Rio has told members of the Mexican media that his girlfriend, WWE Superstar Paige, got involved and was thrown to the ground in the fray. Del Rio claims the assailant got away when he went to check on Paige
Del Rio missed an AAA booking Sunday, and said that he also lost his phone. Had Paige actually been with him, that complicates the story that Del Rio wasn't able to contact AAA. He told The Record that the incident actually happened with a homeless man that fled on foot.
Please note that very little of this story has actually been confirmed, outside of the fact that Del Rio missed a booking and the police have no record of a stabbing incident involving Del Rio.
