An update on Eva Marie's status with WWE.
In October, Cultaholic reported Eva Marie would be returning to WWE. PWInsider noted at the time that Eva was in Orlando and underwent medical testing while also reporting that she had signed a deal with the company in September.
Despite her being reportedly set to return, Eva has not appeared on television.
In the latest update, Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Eva is still listed on WWE's internal roster, but she has not been assigned to a brand. He also noted that Eva has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center several times since September.
It remains unknown if Eva is returning as a wrestler, on-screen personality, or some other role. It is also unknown as to when or if she will appear on television.
Eva signed with WWE in 2013 and was immediately cast on the first season Total Divas. She remained on the reality show for the first six seasons. Her last major storyline revolved around her not wrestling due to a series of unfortunate on-screen events. She was suspended for 30 days for violating WWE's wellness policy in August 2016 and then parted ways with WWE in August 2017.
