Report: Hulk Hogan May Have Been A Victim Of Medical Malpractice

Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24th with the cause of death being reported as a heart attack.

According to TMZ, medical malpractice may have occurred in Hogan’s death.

According to the report, an occupational therapist in Hogan’s home told responding officers the surgeon who did a recent operation on Hogan “severed” his phrenic nerve.

Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky, confirmed to TMZ Sports that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during one of his recent surgeries.

Sky told TMZ that an autopsy has been done, but wouldn’t give the results.

The Clearwater Police Department said in a statement to TMZ Sports on Thursday the investigation into Hulk Hogan’s death remains ongoing.

“We have been in communication with family members — including his son, Nick, and daughter, Brooke. The unique nature of this case has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers, and our detectives continue to do that. All of this takes time.”

“The Hogan family has been appreciative of our efforts and our communication with them.”
