Report: IMPACT President Ed Nordholm Told Talent That The Company Is Not Looking To Sell

IMPACT Wrestling President Ed Nordholm addressed the roster prior to Monday's television tapings and cleared up some rumors.

According to PWInsider, Nordholm told talent that the company is not looking to sell. Rumors of a potential sale began when IMPACT and WWE officials met last September. Furthermore, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently reported that IMPACT tried to sell to All Elite Wrestling, but were turned down.

The IMPACT Wrestling President also addressed IMPACT's upcoming move to the Pursuit channel, saying that Anthem purchased the company to have it for their own assets. Anthem also owns the Pursuit channel. Nordholm stated that IMPACT now has digital rights to the series again, which is how they are able to simulcast on Twitch while also airing on Pursuit.

Nordholm reportedly told the roster that 2017 was a "learning year" -- Anthem purchased the company in January 2017 -- and that 2018 was about getting them in position for the future. Nordholm reportedly said that the company accomplished what they set out to do in 2018 and that everyone is optimistic about 2019.
