Report: IMPACT Talent Can Only Wear Official IMPACT Shirts On Television

Official IMPACT shirt required.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, IMPACT Wrestling officials have put a rule in place stating that talent can only wear official IMPACT t-shirts on television. Meaning, if a talent is selling a shirt through Pro Wrestling Tees or any other outlet, they cannot wear that shirt while on IMPACT television.

A look at the IMPACT Wrestling Shop shows that many of the top talents on the show have signature t-shirts. Aside from the obvious names such as Johnny Impact, Brian Cage, Sami Callihan and Michael Elgin, undercard talent like The Rascalz, The North, and Su Yung also have t-shirts available in the IMPACT Shop.

Most of the top names also have shirts available on Pro Wrestling Tees as well, with a wider selection to choose from. Talent appearing on Independent shows can continue to wear non-IMPACT shirts on those shows.

While this would seem to be a good move overall in terms of company branding, it's a rough time for IMPACT Wrestling right now as they are having issues with Pursuit Channel and top names Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux recently requested their releases from the company.
