Report: IMPACT Talent Given Bonuses For Working Brian Cage-Melissa Santos Wedding Angle

IMPACT does some good.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that IMPACT Wrestling issued bonuses to talents who worked the Brian Cage and Melissa Santos pre-tape wedding angle in Las Vegas. It was not disclosed which talents were paid or how much the bonuses were for.

The day had been a "bone of contention for talents" as the filming reportedly took place early in the morning and talent went hours without food or water

The wedding angle between Cage and Santos is scheduled to air this Friday, Sept. 27 on IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT has been in the headlines a lot in recent weeks, for both good and bad reasons. On Tuesday it was announced that IMPACT would officially move to AXS from Pursuit beginning on Oct. 29. The show will move from it's Friday night time slot at 10 p.m. ET to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. The bad news is that VP of Production Kevin Sullivan left the promotion for AEW after failing to reach an agreement with Athem/IMPACT. Sullivan's KSTV production company handled much of the production for IMPACT.

Furthermore, IMPACT and Killer Kross remain at a contract impasse with no conclusion in sight. Kross recently called the situation "bullshit." You can view his full comments by clicking here
