Havoc was accused of mental, verbal, and emotional abuse along with rape and assault during the Speaking Out movement. In response to the allegations, AEW released a statement that said Havoc was receiving treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. The statement ended by noting AEW would evaluate his status with the company and would address it when he had successfully completed his rehabilitation.

Havoc last wrestled on the June 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, teaming with Kip Sabian in a loss to the Young Bucks.

Priestley last appeared on the March 11 AEW Dynamite, teaming with Nyla Rose to defeat Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander. She has been overseas and unable to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier on Thursday, Sadie Gibbs took to social media to confirm her release from the company.
