He had been producing matches and segments for WWE Raw and SmackDown including Apollo Crews vs. Damian Priest from the November 29 episode of WWE Raw, R-Truth vs. Reggie from WWE Main Event, Street Profits vs. AJ Styles & Omos from the November 22 episode of WWE Raw, and Rick Boogs vs. Angel Garza from the November 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Yang was credited as a producer alongside other long-term producers such as Abyss and D-Von Dudley.

Yang had multiple runs in WWE, first signing with the company in March 2001 after the company purchased WCW before he was released in January 2002. He returned to the company in September 2003 where he had a run alongside Ryan Sakoda and Tajiri as Kyo Dai before he was released again in July 2005. He returned again in May 2006 where he became the cowboy Jimmy Wang Yang and lasted until April 2010.

His daughter Jazzy Yang currently wrestles, most notably competing at the recent all-women's show NWA EmPowerrr.
