Report: John Laurinaitis Acknowledges Janel Grant Lawsuit, Has 60 Days To Respond

John Laurinaitis has acknowledged the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant.

On January 25, a lawsuit was filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault. The lawsuit includes disturbing details of how Janel was treated sexually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

PWInsider reports that Laurinaitis filed a waiver of service that acknowledges the lawsuit. He is waiving that he needs to be served with the lawsuit and he will respond within 60 days of March 15.

The lawyer for Laurinaitis denied the claims against his client and claimed that his client is also a victim.

Laurinaitis was terminated by WWE in the summer of 2022 and was investigated by the WWE Board in relation to sexual misconduct and hush money allegations brought against McMahon in June 2022.
