Report: Lou D'Angeli Hired To Work Backstage In IMPACT Wrestling

IMPACT Wrestling has made a new behind-the-scenes hire.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, IMPACT has hired Lou D’Angeli to oversee their marketing going forward. It is also reported that he will have additional behind-the-scenes duties, but those were not specified.

In front of the camera, Lou D'Angeli was featured in ECW as Sign Guy Dudley, one of the many Dudley Boyz and he was later known as Lou E. Dangerously, a parody of Paul Heyman’s Paul E. Dangerously.

According to the report, Lou was brought on board as a consultant for the company several months ago. He was recently hired for a full-time executive position and has been working behind the scenes at recent TV tapings.

Outside of the world of wrestling, D’Angeli has worked as the Director of Marketing for Cirque du Soleil and he spent many years working for WWE as the Director of Live Events and Director of Promotions and Event Marketing.
