In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Mance confirmed that he had asked for his release from MLW.

When asked by Bodyslam for comment on Warner's contract status at the time of the report, MLW said, "all we’re saying is he [Mance Warner] remains under a deal.”

According to Cassidy of Bodyslam.net, Warner's contract with MLW is set to expire at the end of January 2022.

Warner has been active for GCW, IWA Mid-South and AAW during the pandemic. He is one half of the GCW Tag Team Champions with Matthew Justice. The duo is set to defend the GCW Tag Titles against The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) at GCW War Ready on October 23.
