According to the report, Ranallo will continue to do commentary work for other combat sports outside of WWE. Mauro has done work for Showtime Boxing and Bellator MMA during his time in WWE.

Ranallo signed with WWE in December 2015 and became the lead voice of SmackDown. He remained with the blue brand until April 2017 when he and WWE agreed to "mutually part ways." However, in June 2017, he was introduced as the lead commentator for the NXT brand. He has been the Voice of NXT ever since.
