An update on IMPACT Wrestling, Lucha Underground and Bar Wrestling announcer Melissa Santos.
Melissa Santos suffered a torn ACL months ago and according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, she recently had surgery on that torn ACL which caused she and her husband, IMPACT World Champion Brian Cage's wedding date to be pushed back.
"The Machine" Brian Cage had an injury scare of his own at IMPACT Wrestling's 'Rebellion' pay-per-view. He took a "Spanish Fly" from Johnny Impact during the beginning stages of their match. Cage was able to finish the match while hurt and after the bout, he was taken to a local medical facility and later posted the following message on Instagram about the expectations he had for his match against Johnny Impact and the ultimate result of that match:
