Report: Mickie James Sidelined With A Knee Injury

The veteran is out of action.

WWE held a live event in Waco, Texas over the weekend and those in attendance at the show tweeted out that former 6-time WWE Women's Champion Mickie James was injured during her match with Carmella. Dave Meltzer noted in the F4WOnline Daily Update that James' knee is hurt and she is out of action. She was slated to wrestle at the College Station live event but was pulled from the match and replaced by Zelina Vega.

There is no word on the severity of James' injury. Prior the Waco live event, the last time that Mickie wrestled for WWE was in WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35.

The women's division on the RAW side is being headed by "The Man" Becky Lynch while on SmackDown Live, Bayley is leading the charge. Bayley will be appearing on tonight's edition of SmackDown in Laredo where she'll join Alexa Bliss for a new edition of 'A Moment Of Bliss'. Also slated for SmackDown is an appearance by WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg and an exclusive interview with Lars Sullivan.
