Report: Neville Is No Longer Under Contract With WWE

Big, big news.

Former two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville has been AWOL since the reported incident during the fall of 2017 which entailed that he walked out of WWE before an episode of RAW for a variety of reasons. In an exclusive update about Neville's contract situation published by Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp this past January, the belief amongst the talent roster was that WWE froze Neville's contract opposed to letting it run it's course and Neville eventually being freed from the contract once it expired.

Before Neville was reported to have walked out on the company last year before RAW, he was scheduled to go one-on-one with Enzo Amore as the two were in the middle of a feud over the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, Neville has not been on social media at all and his last tweet was in September of 2017. There have been pictures of Neville that have surfaced on social media over the past ten months as well.

After nearly eleven months of updates and swinging reports concerning Neville's status with the WWE, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that sources have indicated to him that Neville is no longer under contract with the WWE. There were no further details available other than that a source with direct knowledge about the situation confirmed that the former NXT Champion is officially out of his WWE contract.

UPDATE***
WWE has confirmed to Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp that Neville is officially out of his WWE contract and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline has reported that the former "King Of The Cruiserweights" is in the clear to wrestle wherever and whenever he pleases.

On a related note, a number of weeks ago the current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander had some choice words that were indirectly aimed at Neville on Twitter. To read into that, check out Fightful's article about the topic.
