Report: Nick Khan Endorses Triple H As Head Of Creative, Defends Against Online Criticism During WWE Town Hall Meeting

WWE reportedly held a staff town hall meeting on Monday, with WWE President Nick Khan telling everyone that WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque (Triple H) will continue in his role as head of creative.

The report comes via Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling. The report notes, “It’s unclear whether Khan’s comments reflect a formal extension of Levesque’s employment contract or a less formal affirmation of his performance as head of creative.”

Khan also reportedly pushed back against online criticism of WWE, saying it was coming from “a vocal minority.” According to the report, he specifically cited the perception that WrestleMania Night 1 was less well-received than Night 2.

Khan has publicly said multiple times that the online fans who criticize are the “vocal minority” and that WWE is driven by ratings, revenue, and relevancy.

Fans were critical of WrestleMania for having too many ads during the show, as well as some of the creative directions, notably Pat McAfee being added to the main event angle between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
