It's a "Total Divas" bombshell.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Nikki and Brie Bella will not return for the ninth season of "Total Divas." The twin sisters have been part of the show since it premiered in 2013. They parlayed the success of "Total Divas" into their own spin-off, "Total Bellas," which is currently in its fourth season.
The Bellas reportedly informed E! of their decision at the end of season eight. They reportedly want to take time to focus on the aforementioned spin-off "Total Bellas."
To help replace the star power left behind by The Bellas, Squared Circle Sirens reported "Total Divas" cameras have been filming at Ronda Rousey's farm, indicating that she will be part of the upcoming cast.
It's been a week of shake-ups for the "Total Divas" cast. Earlier this week, Lana announced that she would not be returning for the ninth season after being told by E! Executives that she was "strongly disliked" by the E! demographic. Last night following SmackDown Live, Sonya Deville confirmed she would be joining the season nine cast.
Satin also reports that Carmella, Natalya, Nia Jax and Naomi will be part of the season nine cast and Paige will not be returning.
WWE and E! have yet to officially announce the season nine cast or premiere date.
