Report: NXT To Air On The USA Network On December 13

WWE's developmental league may soon get some fresh eyes.

PWInsider has pointed out that the USA Network's website has listed an airing of NXT on Wednesday following the movie Thor. It's also been listed on many cable guides like Comcast, FIOS and Direct TV.

This hasn't been outright confirmed by WWE yet, so this is still a report and not a confirmation. But it makes too much sense considering that this is also the week that WWE "takes over" the USA Network with new content each day, which will also include the upcoming WWE Tribute to the Troops show that will air that Thursday.

NXT would be airing for the first time on cable television in this format. It originally replaced ECW on Tuesday nights on the Syfy Network in 2010 as a reality competition series featuring stars being called up from their then Florida Championship Wrestling territory. When that ran out of steam and was cancelled by Syfy in 2012, it then aired as a web series before being retooled as WWE's next developmental territory.

NXT has just taped content for the next few weeks of their show, which will revolve around the next contender for new champion Andrade Cien Almas. You can check those out here.
