Report: NXT Has No Plans For TakeOver On Survivor Series Weekend

NXT TakeOver: WarGames may not happen on its usual weekend this year.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, NXT is not planning to hold a TakeOver event on Survivor Series weekend. This would mark the first time since 2015 that NXT TakeOver has not been held the night before Survivor Series. Since 2017, NXT TakeOver has been highlighted by the annual WarGames match during Survivor Series weekend.

WWE has yet to announce upcoming TakeOver events. The TakeOver schedule has changed with the pandemic as there was no TakeOver the night before WrestleMania, but there was a TakeOver the night before SummerSlam.

WWE's next pay-per-view event is Clash of Champions, which is currently scheduled for September 27. You can find the current card for Clash of Champions by clicking here
