Paige spent much of last week at the WWE Performance Center training to get cleared for a return to the ring, and according to a report in PWInsider, whatever she did worked.
Paige has been cleared for in-ring action, and will reportedly be added to the SmackDown brand, even though she was drafted to RAW in the brand split and has yet to appear on TV since.
The first NXT Women's Champion has been out with a neck injury since June of 2016, also serving two different wellness suspensions during her time away from the ring. She underwent surgery last summer and since then, she has gotten engaged to former WWE Champion (and former WWE wrestler) Alberto Del Rio (now El Patron) and was embroiled in a public scandal after a domestic assault incident at Orlando International Airport a few months ago.
With Asuka being added to RAW, SmackDown's Women's Division would certainly benefit from the addition of former Divas Champ.
