Report: Paige (Saraya) Signs With WWE, Will Return To The Ring
Paige (Saraya in AEW) has reportedly signed to return to WWE and will be stepping back into the ring.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports, “[Paige] has signed to return as a wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment and is expected to return to the ring this weekend as part of Wrestlemania 42. The belief among those we have spoken with is that Saraya, as Paige, will be part of Saturday’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four Way, substituting for Nikki Bella who has not been cleared to return from the ankle injury suffered several weeks back on Smackdown.”
The Bellas (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella) are set to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in a four-way match. As of now, Nikki is still advertised, but her ankle injury has been referenced on television.
Paige was last seen in AEW, but has not been in the ring since October 2024. She last wrestled in WWE in 2017, but was forced to retire due to a neck injury. She stayed in WWE as a manager and GM, but joined AEW in 2022, returning to the ring after being cleared.
