Report: Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff Already On The Job As WWE Executive Directors

The latest on Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman have already started as executive producers of WWE television. Eric Bischoff will be heading WWE SmackDown Live while Heyman will be in charge of WWE Raw.

Johnson goes on to report that the ideas of Heyman and Bischoff will be implemented over time and that fans should not expect any massive changes overnight.

In yesterday's report by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, it was noted that the roles would not be introduced on television. That may still be the case, but local advertising for Raw and SmackDown puts Heyman and Bischoff front and center on their respective shows.

 

 

Local advertising does not always go along with what WWE is planning, and there is no mention of Heyman or Bischoff appearing on Raw or SmackDown respectively in any preview by WWE. Both Ryan Satin and Dave Meltzer report that Bischoff appearing on SmackDown is not guaranteed and that the local advertising was a mistake.
