RETRIBUTION might not be appearing on WWE programming for some time.
According to a report from Ryan Satin, all five members of the faction are not cleared to compete. However, it is not due to them testing positive for COVID-19. Instead, the members of the group have to go under self-quarantine for two weeks after coming into contact with someone who did test positive.
Regarding RETRIBUTION not being cleared to compete at the moment, sources tell me all 5 members tested negative for COVID-19. However, the group's members each have to quarantine themselves for two weeks because they came into proximity with someone who tested positive.— Ryan Satin (@ryansatin) September 28, 2020
The group. who did not appear in any manner at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view on September 27, has only had one official match in WWE which was against The Hurt Business on September 21.
This isn't the first time that a wrestler in WWE has had to miss time for reasons related to COVID-19 that don't involve testing positive to COVID-19. Roman Reigns elected to stay home for months to protect himself and his family from the pandemic before returning at SummerSlam.
Fightful will keep you updated on RETRIBUTION's status.
