Report: The Revival's WWE Contracts Are Not Up Until April 2020

If the Top Guys want out of WWE, they may have to wait awhile.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, together known as The Revival, are under contract to WWE until April 2020.

Last week, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported that WWE was fearful that The Revival wanted out of the company. Meltzer later confirmed that the duo had asked for their release following their match against Lucha House Party on Raw. Over the weekend, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet offered more details on their release request. According to Satin, The Revival was frustrated with the direction of the tag team division in WWE, feeling that teams were not given enough promo time or backstage segments.

Despite their frustration with how things are going, The Revival wrestled at live events over the weekend. Following their bout in San Antonio against Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, many wrestlers and fans took to social media to praise the match, saying the four men "tore the house down."

As previously reported, The Revival applied for the trademark "#FTR" which stands for Forever The Revival according to Dawson and Wilder or Fuck The Revival according to The Young Bucks.
