Rey Mysterio has yet to re-sign with WWE.
Rey Mysterio returned to WWE in the 2018 Royal Rumble match and signed a contract with the promotion in the fall of 2018 that saw him also as a downloadable character in the WWE 2K 19 video game.
In his most recent run, He's challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, won the United States Championship multiple times, and most recently, he was thrown off of WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer from the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Mysterio has yet to re-sign with WWE and his contract is set to expire soon. In recent interviews, Mysterio has said that he would like to finish his career with WWE but would enjoy the opportunity to get to work with his son Dominick inside of the squared circle before he hangs up his mask.
Currently, on Raw, Mysterio is in a newly-engaged feud with Seth Rollins, who critically injured Mysterio's eye on the May 11 episode of WWE Raw.
