A reported update on Rey Mysterio.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Rey Mysterio missed Saturday's WWE Royal Royal event due to injury. Fightful has not confirmed the report.
It is unknown how long Rey will be sidelined.
Mysterio was set to enter the men's Royal Rumble at number 17, but he never came out when his music played. Dominik Mysterio entered at number 18 and he came out holding Rey's mask, implying that he, and possibly Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, & Rhea Ripley), attacked Rey before he could make his entrance.
Rey competed against Karrion Kross on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
