Details on the injury suffered by Rey Mysterio.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports Mysterio will not undergo surgery for his injury and instead will recover through rehab. Rey is expected to be out for two months, though Meltzer notes that he could return before that.

Mysterio and WWE have been negotiating a new contract in recent months with the latest update being WWE offered a three-year deal. It has not been reported if Mysterio has signed or not, but he's remained a central part of WWE Raw through negotiations. Rey has even gotten his family involved on the show with Dominik becoming a full-time wrestler and his wife and daughter appearing on Monday's Raw.
