Ric Flair is recovering from his latest surgery.
Last year, Ric Flair had a life altering health scare where he was medically induced into a coma for a week. His health had deteriorated after years of alcohol abuse. After waking from the coma, Flair opened up about his alcoholism and went into physical therapy to help his body recover.
On Monday, Flair was scheduled for another surgery to remove the apparatus for his colostomy bag. According the Pro Wrestling Sheet, Flair's fiancee said the 16 time World Champion's surgery went well and he's recovering in the hospital. He will reportedly be in the hospital until the end of the week.
Only a few months after his health scare in August, Flair appeared on Smackdown and surprised his daughter Charlotte Flair after her Championship victory. This was his first WWE appearance after the coma.
Charlotte Flair has been away from the WWE ring since Money in the Bank because of a surgery to repair a ruptured implant. The seven-time WWE Women's Champion provided an update on her father post-surgery.
