Report: Riho Finishes Up With Stardom

Riho's time with Stardom has reportedly come to an end.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Riho finished up with Stardom on Saturday. Meltzer reports that Stardom wants its talent under an exclusive contract, which isn't possible with Riho due to her AEW contract.

Riho wrestled at the Stardom Year-End Climax 2020 on December 26, teaming with AZM in a loss to STARS (Mayu Iwatani & Starlight Kid). She has been wrestling for Stardom during the pandemic.

Her last AEW appearance came on March 18 when she competed in a four-way bout against Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, and Penelope Ford. She was the first-ever AEW Women's Champion, losing the title to Nyla Rose this past February.

It is unknown when Riho will return to AEW television.
