Rockstar Spud is backstage at Smackdown, and apparently there's photographic proof.
PWInsider is reporting that Spud is backstage at the Smackdown tapins in Newark, New Jersey and is expected to debut for 205 Live shortly. They posted a photograph of him arriving backstage:
There have been reports out for a while that Spud was on his way to the WWE. It was reported last week that he had signed shortly after departing Impact Wrestling, and it was just a matter of getting his visa cleared up.
He joined Impact as a part of their British Boot Camp reality show, which originally aired on the Challenge network in the UK. After a brief stint in OVW, he joined the main roster and became then heel Dixie Carter's Chief of Staff in her heel stable.
After that run concluded, he mainly focused on the X-Division title. He was also used for comedy purposes,such as being pinned by King Maxel and feuding with Swoggle. He was also briefly associated with Aron Rex during a short lived Liberace gimmick as his servant.
