Harper & Rowan defended their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles against the New Day at SummerSlam. Big E & Xavier Woods won the match by disqualification, but Harper & Rowan retained after thwacking New Day with their hammers. The finish suggests that the feud was scheduled to continue after SummerSlam.
