REPORT: Samoa Joe Out With Injury Until Late October

When Samoa Joe went down with an injury at a house show back in August, the reports were that he would be out for about a month. Now we're hearing that it might be twice that.

According to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Samoa Joe is now expected to be back at the end of October.

There was another report earlier that the former two-time NXT Champion's injury caused WWE to scrap a proposed Joe v John Cena one on one match at the August 28 RAW. Instead, WWE opted to do a very well received duelling promo segment with Cena and Roman Reigns during their Contract Signing for No Mercy. Then another report came out that said that the Contract Signing was always the plan for that episode of RAW, and that there was never any Joe vs Cena match slated for the card that night.

Regardless, it appears certain at this point that Joe will miss the No Mercy PPV on September 24, but in theory he could be well enough to make an appearance at the TLC PPV on October 22.
