WWE adds another female talent.
Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens reports that Santana Garrett has signed a developmental contract with WWE. Garrett has appeared on WWE television, most notably wrestling in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. Garrett was defeated by Piper Niven in the first round of the tournament, but worked a six-woman tag match on the second night of the tapings, teaming with Sarah Logan & Marti Belle in a loss to Tessa Blanchard, Jazzy Gabert, and Kay Lee Ray.
She's also appeared on NXT television in the past. She participated in the WWE NXT Women's Title Qualifying Battle Royal on the Oct. 25, 2017, episode of NXT and battled Dakota Kai on the July 4, 2018, episode.
Along with her WWE appearances, Garrett has wrestled all over the Independent scene, making appearances for SHINE, SHIMMER, Women of Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, and more. She also had a 2014 run with IMPACT Wrestling, working under the name Brittany. She recently took on Allysin Kay at the NWA Crockett Cup event for the vacant NWA Women's Title.
