Report: Slammiversary Match Was LAX's Last With IMPACT Wrestling; LAX Has Offers From WWE & AEW

LAX has wrapped up with IMPACT Wrestling.

Over the weekend, LAX (Santana and Ortiz) dropped their IMPACT World Tag Team Championships to The North (Josh Alexander and Ethan Page) heading into IMPACT Wrestling's Slammiversary XVII pay-per-view. Santana and Ortiz had the opportunity to regain the tag titles at Slammiversary and there was a point during the match when there was a storyline leg injury involving Santana that would leave Ortiz to fend for himself. It is noted in F4WOnline's Daily Update that the injury angle was planned in advance and that aforementioned match was LAX's last with IMPACT Wrestling. LAX also has offers from both WWE and AEW.

It was reported by PWInsider in June that LAX's IMPACT contracts were set to expire this Summer and that IMPACT officials were communicating with the duo about re-signing with the company.

News also came to the light that former IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact's contract with IMPACT has expired. To read more into that story, click here.

Fightful reviewed IMPACT's Slammiversary XVII pay-per-view and that review podcast is up on the Fightful Pro Wrestling YouTube channel.
