Report: Stardom Won't Use NXT UK Talent Due To Contract Restrictions

Don't expect to see NXT UK female talent in Stardom anytime soon.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Stardom won't be using NXT UK talent due to the recent contract restrictions placed on the competitors and fear that WWE can pull the talent at any point. As previously reported, NXT UK talent are now restricted from working for non-WWE partnered promotions, their appearances cannot be television/streamed/distributed, and they cannot work against talent from major organizations.

Meltzer reports that this is a decision made by Stardom and that NXT UK talent can work for the organization, but WWE must approve the dates and talent cannot work against anyone from ROH or World of Sport.

It was previously reported that NXT UK talent could not work against IMPACT Wrestling talent, but Toni Storm faced Jordynne Grace in PROGRESS and Eve this past week. In other Eve news, Jinny lost a loser leaves town match to Shotzi Blackheart.

Stardom is based in Japan and has featured NXT/NXT UK stars such as Toni Storm, Io Shirai, Xia Brookside and more over the years.
