Report: SummerSlam 2021 To Be Held In Allegiant Stadium In Las Vegas

According to a new report, WWE is slated to host its first stadium show outside of WrestleMania in over a year.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, WWE will host SummerSlam 2021 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the first time that WWE will host the annual summer tradition in Las Vegas in its 30+ year history.

Sports Business Journal reports WWE is targeting the weekend of August 22 for the event.

WWE is embarking on a 25-city tour as they resume their normal touring schedule. Thus far, dates have been announced for Texas, Minnesota, and more as WWE looks to recapture some semblance of normalcy following the global pandemic which forced all of their operations to take place in the state of Florida for the majority of 2020 and of the first half of 2021.

WWE also reportedly held a meeting recently that informed office Personnel that they would be returning to work in Stamford, Connecticut beginning in July. Learn more here.
