Report: Teddy Hart Arrested In Virginia

Teddy Hart has reportedly been arrested in Virginia.

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Hart was booked on three charges of possession, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession with intent to sell and distribute. Per PWInsider, he is currently incarcerated at the Richmond City Jail and is listed as being booked on February 12 at midnight. Hart is scheduled to appear in court on April 23.

Possession of a Schedule III controlled substance is a Class 1 misdemeanor in Virginia with a maximum penalty of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500. Schedule III controlled substances can include anabolic steroids and ketamine.

The 40-year-old, whose real name is Edward Ellsworth Annis, recently was released by Major League Wrestling in late 2019. Hart held the company's Middleweight Championship, but dropped it to Myron Reed in November. Hart was also a part of the New Era Hart Foundation alongside Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr. 

Hart has wrestled for a number of companies throughout his wrestling career, including Jersey All Pro Wrestling, AAA, Ring of Honor, Wrestling Society X and more.
