Report: TNA Open To Shifting TNA iMPACT To Wednesday Nights, Discussions Of Moving To WWE-associated Network

TNA Wrestling could reportedly move TNA iMPACT! to Wednesday nights and land on a different network.
According to Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated, there have “been discussions of TNA moving to a WWE-associated network, and that the company is even open to shifting from Thursday to Wednesday nights to go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.”
AEW Dynamite airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on TBS with a simulcast on HBO Max. TNA iMPACT! airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on AXS TV and TNA+.
The report goes on to state, “While it was not directly indicated that the destination would be The CW, it was expressed to The Takedown on SI that The CW’s interest in the promotion is legitimate, and that some WWE stakeholders would like TNA to be a part of the network.”
CW Network is currently the home of NXT, which airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
While making the media rounds, TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva stated that he hopes to have a new media rights deal done around the time for TNA Bound For Glory in October. You can find his full comments here.
