Report: Tom Lawlor Will Not Need Surgery For The Broken Hand He Suffered At Golden Boy MMA

Lawlor is going to be fine.

Earlier this week Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reported that the 10-7-0 "Filthy" Tom Lawlor broke his hand during his fight against Deron Winn at 'Golden Boy MMA' on November 24th. Lawlor lost to Winn via unanimous decision and it was his first fight since March of 2016 which was also a loss via unanimous decision to Corey Anderson at UFC 196.

Over the years since his last pro fight prior to the 'Golden Boy MMA' show, he has been competing in the sport of professional wrestling where he is regularly featured in MLW.

Lawlor left the octagon with a broken hand but in an update provided by way of Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Lawlor has been told that he will not need surgery or a cast for the broken hand. Lawlor is scheduled to compete at the Major League Wrestling television tapings on December 13th and 14th in Miami and the MMA turned pro fighter has two weeks to go until he's back in the ring.
