Report: Triple H Sent Feelers To "Broken" Matt Hardy

"With WWE there's the killer schedule which probably isn't the best thing for him physically right now," Meltzer wrote. "Granted, if something happens to TNA, that equation changes because he's loaded with ideas for his character and he would need television to get them over."

Hardy has creative control of his "Broken" character which has provided TNA with several unique moments in television, most notably the "Final Deletion" segment with Jeff Hardy.

TNA is in the midst of possibly making big changes in terms of company ownership. Billy Corgan is the company's new president and while Dixie Carter is still the majority owner of the company, several companies, including WWE and ROH parent company Sinclair Broadcasting, are interested in buying the company. There is no telling how the contract situation for talent already working for TNA will change if a sale were to occur.

Hardy is a former TNA World Heavyweight and a former TNA World Tag Team Champion, in his second run with TNA
