New details regarding Triplemania XXVIII.
Eric Mutter from Lucha Central reports AAA Triplemania XXVIII will take place on December 26. The event will be held behind closed doors, meaning no fans in attendance.
AAA Lucha Libre has yet to confirm the date.
At the Triplemania XXVIII press conference in October, AAA CEO Dorian Roldan said the company was hoping to run the show with fans in Arena Ciudad de Mexico, pending the health conditions. Mexico City is still in code orange and would need to drop to code yellow before fans would be allowed.
AAA previously announced that Kenny Omega will defend the AAA Mega Championship against Laredo Kid at the event. Chessman vs. Pagano in a hair vs. hair match and Aracno (Spider-Man) & Leyenda Americana (Captain America) vs Terror Purpura (Thanos) & Venenoide (Venom) in a Marvel tie-in match were also announced.
Lucha Central is reporting Taya Valkyrie will defend her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Lady Shani.
