Nikki Cross did not appear on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown and according to the report, this match will not be taking place and there will be a replacement opponent for Bayley. Fightful Select was able to confirm that WWE has been planning for Nikki's absence since earlier this week. Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio first reported that the match was in jeopardy.

In regards to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, POST Wrestling reports that that match is “off.” As of right now, it is not specifically noted why either of these matches is off but they will be addressed by WWE on the show tonight.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that the RAW Women's Championship match between Asuka and Zelina Vega will move to the main card. Replacing it on the kickoff show will be the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Lucha House Party.

Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates. Be sure to stick around for our live coverage of WWE Clash of Champions beginning tonight at 6 p.m. Eastern.
