REPORT: Vince Was FURIOUS About Nakamura's Botched Spot With Cena; WWE Legend Calls Vince A 'Cry Baby'

Last week, during the huge first-time-ever once-in-a-lifetime #1 Contender's Match between Shinsuke Nakamura & John Cena, this happened:

NJPW Returning To New York In October With Rumble On 44th Street, STARDOM Talent Involved

Immediate reaction seemed to be "Thank God Cena is okay, but hey, that's wrestling." Nakamura apologized after the match, Cena told him "Don't be sorry," and that was that.

Or so we thought.

But no, according to a new report by Justin Barrasso in Sports Illustrated, Vince McMahon was FURIOUS over the botch.

Now, apparently, it was more in a protective way, directed toward Vince's favorite son, the guy who's been the face of the company for the last decade. Vince basically saw Cena's career ending right in front of his eyes, and he reacted poorly.

The report states that Vince still has confidence in Nakamura and his push will remain active, but sources say that if Nakamura has another moment like that one on a big stage, "McMahon will have an entirely different opinion" of the King of Strong Style.

Evidently, this story made it across the desk of WWE legend Superstar Billy Graham, and he had a unique perspective, posting this to Facebook:

“I just read a few hours ago that a story came out today in Sports Illustrated concerning the FURY of one Vince McMahon. Seem that he is furious with the Japanese star Nakamura, for dropping Cena on his head in their match last week. Vince said he “is not so much that mad at at Shinsuke, but that Cena has been the “FACE” of the company for a full decade now.” Not for long Vince madman McMahon. Cena is on his way to La La land. I saw Stan Hansen give Bruno the elbow in MSG when he broke Bruno’s neck. Vince Sr. didn’t cry like a baby, he just let Bruno get his neck fixed and keep on wrestling. Vince is living in Disney Land if he thinks Cena is still the ” Face ” of the WWE. Grow up Vince.

P.S. God, Vince is such a cry baby !!!”
