Report: W. Morrissey Departs From IMPACT Wrestling

W. Morrissey has finished with IMPACT.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that W. Morrissey has departed from IMPACT Wrestling. Morrissey is set to team with PCO on the June 2 episode of IMPACT Wrestling to take on Moose & Steve Maclin. This bout is reportedly W. Morrissey's final appearance for the company at this time. The match was taped on May 13.

W. Morrissey (formerly Big Cass in WWE) made his IMPACT debut in April 2021 at Rebellion as the replacement for Eric Young in an eight-man tag team bout. Morrissey has been heavily featured by the promotion during his time with the company, including challenging for the IMPACT World Title on multiple occasions.

While still working with IMPACT, Morrissey made an appearance on the May 4 episode of AEW Dynamite as a mystery opponent for Wardlow during his feud with MJF.
