Report: WCW Thunder Coming To WWE Network In March

More WCW vintage footage is coming to WWE Network.

According to Wrestling Network News, the WWE Network will be adding WCW Thunder to the archives. It was a two-hour show which was considered the "b-show" during the time and aired on Thursdays and later on Wednesday on TBS.

The show is scheduled to hit the WWE Network on March 19th but it is unclear if the entire show or only a portion of the library will be added right away.

Last year, PWInsider reported WCW Thunder was being delayed for release on WWE Network because of on-going litigation with Raven and Buff Bagwell. The WWE Network launched in 2014 and vintage footage from WCW,AWA, WCCW, and NWA have been added slowly over the past few years.

WCW Thunder ran on TBS from 1998 to 2001 and featured wrestlers like Chris Jericho, Sting, Diamond Dallas Page, and Goldberg. WWE Champion AJ Styles once made his WCW debut on WCW Thunder in February 2001.
