It was announced at MLW Fightland that Ospreay would debut in the fall and then it was announced he would be appearing in December 2021. According to the report, the working relationship between MLW and NJPW ended in mid-November and MLW is now working with All Japan.

MLW recently instituted an "open door policy" for free agents.

Ospreay has been active in America, working NJPW STRONG events and claiming to be the "real" IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He is set to compete at Wrestle Kingdom 16 night two when he faces the winner of Kazuchika Okada vs. Shingo Takagi to crown the unified IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

Fightful will provide more details on Ospreay not appearing for MLW if and when they become available.

Fightful have the stream and results for MLW every Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
