Report: WrestleMania 35 To Be Held At Metlife Stadium

WrestleMania 35 may be headed to a familiar spot next year.

Barstool Sports is reporting that WrestleMania 35 may be heading back to New Jersey at Metlife Stadium, which was home to WrestleMania 29 back in 2013. Other host cities like Philadelphia and Detroit were considered, but WWE went ahead with New Jersey in the end. Ticketdrew, who has broken stories in the past, had reported back in October that a location had been set, and that Minnesota, which was also considered at one point, was out of the running.

WrestleMania this year will be back in New Orleans at the Superdome, which was home to WrestleMania 30, where Daniel Bryan defeated Batista and Randy Orton to becoming the WWE World Heavyweight champion. WrestleMania 29 had the second encounter between John Cena and The Rock, where Cena defeated Rock to win the WWE title.

WWE has not confirmed the location of WrestleMania 35, but an announcement is expected soon.
