According to a new report, Bayley may be in line for a WrestleMania title shot.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio noted that WWE officials wanted to run the Charlotte vs. Bayley feud earlier this year. The reason for the delay was because the company wants the rivalry to peak at WrestleMania 33.
The two are tentatively slated to face off next month at the Royal Rumble, although the match hasn't been confirmed. Bayley is undefeated against Charlotte on the main roster, with three victories.
It was mentioned that WWE officials feel that Bayley is more over than Sasha Banks as a babyface, and Vince McMahon hasn't been high on Sasha Banks, which is why she was never given a long reign. Instead, it was said that the company considers Charlotte the better heel and top choice for a money program with Bayley.
