Report: WWE Extreme Rules Scheduled For July

WWE continues to get extreme.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, WWE will hold its annual Extreme Rules event on Sunday, July 18. The event will emanate from inside The ThunderDome, which is currently stationed at the Yuengling Center.

WWE Extreme Rules has been an annual pay-per-view event since 2009 and features various gimmick matches throughout the card.

Last year's event, which was originally scheduled to be held at the SAP Center in San Jose before the pandemic, took a twist and was rebranded The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. The event was headlined by a Wyatt Swamp Fight pitting Bray Wyatt against Braun Strowman battling in cinematic fashion.

It is unknown if Extreme Rules will undergo the same Horror Show branding once again.

WWE's next pay-per-view event, WrestleMania Backlash, is set to take place on Sunday, May 16. You can view the current lineup for the event by clicking here.
