WWE implemented a "no touching" rule for signings this past weekend due to the coronavirus to protect superstars.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider first noted the news. It is unknown if WWE will implement the same rule for its upcoming WWE AXXESS event over WrestleMania weekend. WWE reportedly held a backstage meeting regarding the coronavirus last week and put out a statement on the virus, which you can read by clicking here. As of now, WrestleMania 36 and its events will proceed as planned.
As fans can see in the photo below, Sasha Banks wore gloves at her meet-and-greet for extra protection.
Thank you for everyone who came yesterday and for not getting me sick! Headed to Jamaica now ---- -- pic.twitter.com/Dr89DLoRrS— $asha Banks (@SashaBanksWWE) March 8, 2020
At The Big Event in New York, Braun Strowman would do fist bumps with fans while it was stated that fans were not allowed to come in contact with The Deadman.
Fightful will continue to update fans on how WWE is proceeding regarding coronavirus as more information is known.
